I'm chiming in to say that this really needs to be an option. Having a 'hold' option means I don't have to second guess myself about what boost state I'm currently in or not--I know exactly what state I'm in as I've got the button held down/released.

Thanks for the feedback Sakrav. I agree, it's mostly muscle memory causing my issue--too many years of holding shift to run in shooters. Or even playing Watch Dogs, The Crew, etc. I am so used to holding a key to boost and another key to powerslide.
It's funny, because sometimes I am flying and can't figure out why I can't turn...then I realize doh, I am still boosting even though I let go of the key! It's not a huge gripe, but it would be a welcomed quality of life improvement.
