Star Destroyer Stronger than MC75?

Hi guys, for those that have tried both factions for Fleet Battles versus AI, do you feel the Star Destroyer has better defences than the MC75?

I personally have a harder time as New Republic trying to take down the SD than the MC75 in Fleet Battle versus AI, but maybe I might be doing something wrong, so what are other people's experience.

    For me it's the other way around, I find more easy to fight star destroyers, maybe because I know the ship better than the MC75. I know where the turrets are.
