Star Wars battlefront companion app PS4 problems

My Star Wars battlefront companion app will automatically put me as a pc player! 😡 any idea how to set it to PS4 instead of PC. Many thanks, Drakeslot

You must first have linked  your PSN ID with your Origin Account.  Steps below:

Here are the steps needed to link your Xbox Live Gamertag (Or PSN ID) to your Origin Account:

    1. Open the Origin Client and click the "Friends" button in the top right corner (If you do not have the Origin Client downloaded, you can do so here)
    2. Click "Add a Friend"
    3. Inside this menu, you will see the option to connect to your Xbox Live Gamer Tag (Or PSN ID)

If this was already done, then you need to:

    1.  Open the app

    2.  Click on "More" on the bottom

    3.  Click "Settings"

    4.  Click "Profile Settings"

    5.  Click "Change Profile"

    6.  Click on your PS4 Account

    7.  It should now load and then your PS4 account should say "Active" underneath it

It says that my id is already linked to another account but when I check it isn't connected to another account.

    UNABLE TO LINK ACCOUNTS
Oops…that account has already been linked to a different ID. To review your linked accounts, select Account and Privacy from the Origin menu.

Sorry, when you were posting back to me, I was at work.

If you are getting this error, it is because it is connected to another account.  If you play on EA online title and did not previously link your PSN ID to an Origin Account, it will automatically create an account and link it.  To solve this issue, you must contact an EA Game Adviser @ http://help.ea.com  and ask them to UNLINK the PSN ID from the other Origin Account.  They usually have to verify that your PSN ID is indeed yours, so they usually have you play a demo of a game.  Once it is unlinked, you can follow the steps from earlier and you should be able to successfully link it to your current account.
