Star wars Jedi fallen order black screen

Product: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Screen goes goes to black every now and then when playing the game or in the settings screen.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea
What happens when the bug occurs? The game continues in the background and I can't see anything so it messes up the play.
What do you expect to see? A working game, needs to be some heavy duty bug fixing on this game

Nothing running in the background

    I'm having the same issue too... it's a real buzzkill when it happens during combat or while platforming...

    i5-8400

    RX 580

    16GB

    For what it's worth, disabling Freesync fixed the issue for me. Not sure if turning Gsync off will help you Nvidia folks, but I hope your issues get resolved one way or another.

    Yes I have this issue also:

    Dell Precision T5500

    - XEON DUAL CPUs X5687 @ 3.6GHz

    - 24MB Ram

    - Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX580 4Gb

    - Windows 10 Pro (latest updates)

    @Quiller83 I just got the game and was having this same problem. I switched from Fullscreen mode to Windowed Fullscreen and it seems to have resolved.

    I also read that in the 'Game Properties' menu in your Origin Library (right click on the game and select 'Game Properties') you can uncheck the option to Enable Origin in-game, but I haven't confirmed that that fixes it yet.

    I know this is an old post, but for anyone wondering, unchecking 'Enable Origin In-Game for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order' after right clicking the game and going to properties didn't solve the issue, but I DID notice that the black screens were LESS FREQUENT than before. 

    That being said, playing the game in windowed fullscreen definitely fixed it for me.
