Star Wars Squadrons Anti Cheat?

Is there going to be a Star Wars Squadrons anti-cheat because this game is going to be very competitive and will be needed to prevent someone from using cheats? I think that Motive should start with Easy Anti-Cheat while they create a more sophisticated system like Battle-Eye. We really need anti-cheat for Star Wars Squadrons or else the game will be rife with cheaters!

    Totally agree. Hacks are destroying good multiplayer games everywhere. If there is no effective anti cheat then multiplayer will die a quick death. I would even consider subscribing to a certified no cheat verified server just to play with peace of mind.

    @Masssire I also completely agree, but I do wonder is there really any effective anti cheats nowadays?

    With how smart programs are now it becomes increasingly difficult to combat hackers without being intrusive to ones pc and at the same time protect the skilled players from false bans etc, it’s a tough one.

    @MrNifler That would be great but I think it’s kernel level so would come with a lot of complaints about being too intrusive.

    @MrNifler If needed, EA could always reverse engineer an aimbot or whatever, and then counter it. Maybe just don’t let people in the game’s codes, I dunno if that’s possible on PC. No hacking is possible on the consoles, I don’t know much about it
