I believe the game is good as it is. I mean, I would love to see external flight camera recorders post game if they can so that I can replay some of the great gaming moments here and there..
Having said that, I'm against it having 3rd person view as it would be a huge handicap for those people who prefer to use 1st person view.
This is a semi flight sim game, after all. It is not an arcade shooter. It's amazing they were even able to adapt the power management function of the X-Wing games here.
I think if you're into 3rd person space shooter in the Star Wars universe, Battlefront 2 is still the way to go. This game, however, are for those wanting to immerse themselves in the universe.
PS. Play it with a HOTAS controller and you'll appreciate the control schemes more.
