I have a suspicion that if this game had 3rd person view the game would probably be a lot easier on Ace difficulty, and a lot easier in MP as well, especially in dogfights.
What would be nice is what XWA had and you can do a free view and close-up of your fighters for screenshots. In XWA you could even lock the view from whatever angle you wanted.
