STAR WARS SQUADRONS EASY ANTI CHEAT ANTIVIRUS

I have been enjoying Squadrons for a couple of missions, but the Easy AntiCheat software force closes my game after completing the Victorium mission because it "doesn't trust" my antivirus and frankly it's pissing me off. Is there some kind of work around to get the Anticheat to trust my fricking Antivirus? (I'm using Norton if it helps, it keeps flagging the version file as the problem but I can't do anything about it.)

  • I had a similar issue with EAC over the past month trying to play War Thunder, and my whole computer would crash after EAC loaded. Today I uninstalled norton and used windows defender and now the game works with 0 issue. Not saying that norton is the problem for you, but it was in my case. Also, I had already attempted disabling norton and adding file exceptions so I assume norton is trigger something in EAC.

Hi @chewchewycard, Is it possible to try adding an exception to Norton for EAC and SW: Squadrons to see if this continues?
