Star Wars Squadrons on Steam: 2FA Screen takes no input

There was an update to Star Wars Squadrons and now it starts to a blue screen where it asks for EA 2 Factor Authentication instead of the old "Origin" style window that did the same. Alas, you can't click on anything on this screen, it doesn't recognize mouse, keyboard, HOTAS or gamepad input at all. There are lots of people with the same problem, the only way to work around it is to disable two factor authentication on your EA account, but that leaves the account vulnerable thus it's unaccaptable.

Please fix this so the screen will accept mouse and keyboard input so we can authenticate the game and enter the code. Thanks!

  • Turn off the 2FA in your EA account and it should work.

@EA_Illium Same problem, same problem, I have Steam with Oculus Quest 2 and I use the Steam Link app, with double authentication I have a gray screen where I can't move forward and if I click on close it doesn't close, the only way to make it work is to disable the double authentication on your EA account
