I have a desktop and one of the things I did to improve performance was move over to an SSD from a HDD which made a massive difference. However as you are on laptop you should already have this benefit. Only other thing I can recommended is max out your ram.
However I agree, we won't really know until the game is released. Perhaps you can update after launch and let us know. I hope it works smoothly for you.

8gb memory should be the standard nowadays and is plenty for most games, so 16gb is more than enough for what you need.
GPU and CPU are the key components that improve the performance more than anything else.
