Thanks for the reply.
Although I do feel that this is an issue that could be easily resolved if the ability to play these maps with one player were to be introduced.
There are a lot of people that have asked if this is a feature that could be released in the future. If this doesn't happen then Battlefront will just die entirely.
If that is not possible however. It would be a really good idea to overhaul the match making mechanics in this game so people can see a list of all the supported
servers and see how many players are in each one. So much time spent by the devs developing a fun game, all to be ruined by a broken matchmaking system.
This is one of the reasons that the game has died in the first place.
I am assuming (given EA's history listening to their community's) that absolutely nothing will be done to resolve this. I have no idea
why EA makes some of the decisions that it does.
Anyhow, this game is a dead product so the store should warn potential buyers about this so they dont waste their money like I have just done. I feel that I deserve a refund for spending money on a product that no longer works but I'm assuming that's also out of the question given EA's history and addiction to money.
All in all, I really do believe that this game could be easily revived with some basic tweaks to the match making system that was badly designed
from the start. Or, introduce the ability to allow offline play as well. I know EA wont do this as they make it painfully obvious that they do not believe
in providing a good service for their consumers and only care about numbers ($$$).
I am very dis-appointed in EA once again and I find it harder and harder to make the decision to purchase any of their products for reasons like this.
