Anyone else getting the error message of this EA account is restricted from accessing online features??

What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. I press [PLAY] on Steam. The game launches. A pop up window appears, stating that my EA account cannot play online, and states error code 918.

What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to play online with other players, as it's an online multiplayer game. If it were something that was my own fault, then fine, but it's not. This is clearly something wrong at your end. So, YOU fix it!

Which customizations (if any) were you using? No customisations. Just an inability to play online with multiplayers, in a game that was sold to me as an online multiplayer game.

My Steam Username is ✪NTC | ROYAL CHASSEUR and i tried to connect like 00:30 from germany. I have the samme issue with errorcode 918. I played the first mission (tutorial) and after that i tried to log into multiplayer to play it with my mates. Their game worked fine but mine didnt worked as i wish. My account is linked to ea and i tried the same fixes as u said before. I hope u can help me to get the game running.

Yep same thing here too. I cannot find any troubleshooting steps to resolve this, and with EA support 72+ hours away looks like many of us will not be playing this weekend.
I assumed it was the Anti-cheat blocking here. I had same issue with Easy Anti-Cheat on Fallguys and that was due to OldNewExplorer on my PC .. not a cheating tool but flagged as modifying the shell of Windows so considered me a cheater.
Hope its just a server connectivity issue as suggested though.

Can't believe this, man.
I pre-ordered it as soon as it came out. Then I've been waiting all day to play.
And, as if having to hard-stop my Asus motherboard LED's every time I want to play, due to the astonishing incompetence of the Easy Anti-Cheat company isn't bad enough, I still can't play multiplayer.
Sigh.
