SW: Squadrons EA login screen not visibel (gray screen)

Hello, 

I am not able to connect star wars squadrons with the ea account because I am not able to open the ea login screen. 

When I click on the connect button in the game I am getting the screen as attached. - It is empty only blue/gray and the Close Button in the upper corner. 

How can I fix this bug? 

And yes, everything is up2date - driver update, game fresh installed, steam updated  - pc rebooted. game files fixed inside steam. - resolution to standard and I tried window mode and full screen. I need support^^

    Hi @stockcitygamer To confirm are you online or offline in the EA App?

    Also, when you have a moment can you run through the following?

    • Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
    • Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
    • Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server) 
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)

    I am having the same problem. Grey screen with only the close button visible. Moving the mouse around gives an audio clue that I am moving over some kind of boxes - it makes a clicking/toggle sound in a couple of places.

    I have tried being logged in and logged out of the EA app, but I am launching from Stream.

    I have tried with the steam overlay on and off.

    I have tried with the EA App overlay on and off.

    I have tried full-screen and windowed.

    I have tried all of EA Illium's suggestions.

    Still just a grey screen.

    Same exact issue here. Also at some point, I think after hitting close at the top right I get error 4,795 or close to that.

    To fix this, log into your EA account with your steam account.  Launch the game from the shortcut steam creates on the desktop.  I have had no EA server connection problems since.

    As for anti-virus software issues, I guess they could still be an issue with some.

    Same issue not fixed for me. Opened a ticket with support and after uninstalling EA Play and Squadrons, rebooting with no services enabled except microsoft, and reinstalling the game and EA Play I still get a grey blank screen that errors out. The only thing that as worked so far is disabling MFA on my ea account which is not a good idea obviously.

    Hey, found the fix, change display to window,restart the game, click close to the first grey screen then Once in the menu, click reconnect and it should pop up. But it is stupid I have to do this every time.

    That didn't help me. I have Steam and EA linked. I have switched to windowed, I try to reconnect. I still just see a blank gray screen that only says "close"
