The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). HELP!!

Hello,

Firstly I ask you excuse any irritation I show in the writing of this but I've been struggling to fix this the past three or so days since I noticed this issue and it's quite late. So following the big EA server crash that occurred a few days ago, Feb 9th I think? Anyway I couldn't connect to the servers that day, fine, I set aside the game a while. Following the update after that I decided to play the game again when I was suddenly met with messages such as "the program can't start because msvcp100.dll is missing" in addition to msvcr100.dll which confused me as I didn't know the slightest about what this meant. I did some digging and tried several tricks to resolve this, none worked. Finally I manually added the files to the System32 file and the SysWOW64 file which seemed to resolve these messages, hooray you might think, you think wrong. When I went to open BF3 instead of being met by the blaring error message relating to these missing msv things I was met with "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." huh... So to cut a long story short, I've tried a bunch of things, tried to update dx11 (same message pops up for that!) tried to use the vcredist_x64 to no avail and went to microsoft to download the C++ 2010 and other gizmos to attempt to fix it. Nothing has worked. At this point it feels like I've tried everything short of sacrificing a goat to fix this issue. I've updated my graphics card and other games I play work fine including The Old Republic so solutions would be grand. I'm running a GeForce 960M GPU with 4th gen i7 if that helps at all.

Thanks.
