@ohnojono I don't seem to get the work around to work for me.
I have the controller plugged into one of the USB's in the back of the xbox one x and my hotas in the front USB. The controller still turns off in the middle of a battle - any hints as to what I am doing wrong??

Okay so i tested some o this that was posted, the only work arround that worked for me was the Xbox controller pluged in the back usb port of the xbox, but its not any cable, it must be a cable that you can do a firmware update to the controller, a cable that thansfer data, i have so many cables here and the cheap ones don't work, used an old samsung phone cable. Will see more options or post when this problem is fixed

So I tweeted at a couple of EA accounts and Ian Frazier (Creative Director on Squadrons) and Ian replied confirming they’re investigating the issue 😃
