Tie fighters vs X-wings

Im playing a lot in dogfight mode and almost every time rebels wins. When flying X-wing i target, wait for lock, and fire when aim lock is yellow, its not so hard even against other players. Playing Tie fighter is much much harder to get yellow aim lock against other player and hit, but no problem with AI. What is it depending on ? Doesnt it should be the same for any aircraft ? Or im just bad luck playing on the dark side 😉

xwing is easier to fly and maneuver. the tie fighter (to me) is a bit slower. so locking on to tie fighters is easy for me, but on x-wings it takes me more effort to predict the flight escape they make when i lock on.

also dont forget that AI has a predefined route of escape from your lock, and generally you will memorize their pattern and be able to destroy them. whereas, real life players each have their own mentality.  i've had a guy pull brakes when i was locking him, and he ended up behind me and took me down. its not as easy as hitting AI.

So its a shame from EA they dont show any stats, like for blasters. Then everybody know why Tie fighters sucks...
