TrackIR support?
If SQUADRONS wants to move away from arcade push button Gamepad flying, it NEEDS to offer Flight stick/HOTAS support and TrackIR/VR support. Not to mention the shown micro management, we all loved i...
Your asking a budget EA game made by a small dev team with no post game DLC or support to add support for a SUPER NICHE (say what the f you want it is FACT like 0.1% of pc gamers have a f trackIR fact) Product to look around. Go buy a VR you TrackIR peasant lol. Yeah sucks for you they aint got track IR but if you think they are going to add support to it in an EA game post launch... you got more chance of bringing peace to the middle east first.
FPS is literally broken at 60 fps lock and you're asking for trackIR.

@AdamChattawayYea I was insulting you now because of the fact that you are toxic part and being hypocritical first I am taking the higher road both by showing you your mistake by doing it myself glad you caught that, sit back reflect and see if you finally get that you are not contributing, start a new thread called “please no trackIr, cause that triggers me”
however we are not worth each other’s time, I think you’ll agree let’s move on
+150 TrackIR
So I give my opinion and the Woke SJW in you comes out to put me down, shut me down and not let my opinion have a say. Because my opinion differs from yours I'm toxic and must be cancelled right?
Turns out people in the TrackIR community are salty as * when it comes to people telling them they're a niche part of a very small community. I don't mind people insulting me lol and i will insult them back but when some wet * stain takes a moral high ground about insulting them gives an insult, well that's just pathetic.
@AdamChattawayYou're right, TrackIR is not a function that is often requested.
But there are not too many 1st person flight / space games / sims with a bit of depth published either.
I think it's quite OK that people ask for TrackIR, because it would be a great benefit for the players of SW Squadrons, especially the ones that own a headtracker yet. I play combat flight sims a lot, and it's a much better experience with TrackIR than without it, no doubt.
It hope I get your point: the devs should concentrate on fixing the bugs and improving the existing features that concern all players, not just a portion of the player base.
I'm fine with that, but I think that TrackIR should be integrated when the first problems are solved. Technically, it's not too hard to implement.
I'm also fine, that you state that opinion and discuss that.
But I also think that you should be fair. You made your point. You can't change my or anyone's opinion on this thread just by stating how irrelevant TrackIR is and that it plays a minor role.
It does play a role for us who kindly asked the developers for it. If we're lucky the devs will integrate it, if not, they will not.
I will respect their decision, whatever it might be. I also respect your opinion and I ask you to respect ours.
Cheers,
