Unable to look around in Hangar!

Just got the new update to version 1.05 and now after a few minutes in story mode and I cannot look around.  It seems to happen semi-randomly.  At first i thought it was if I left my controller untouched for a few minutes, like if I had to get up to get a drink, then i noticed I got through the briefing of Mission 7 and after I launched I could not move my startship, could make it go faster, couldn't roll, no yaw control.  Had to exit story mode to get it working again.

I have a similar issue on PC.

Randomly at the end of a conversation, I cannot look around at all. I can still open the pause menu and also launch the mission if the prompt to do so is available, but otherwise I can't do anything else.

This only seems to happen when I let a conversation finish on it's own. If I skip through a conversation, or use the 'leave' option during a conversation, this bug does not seem to occur.

Have this issues on a PS4 Pro while playing in VR as well. Game stops recognizing analog sticks, can launch mission, but then all controller input in game are not recognized. Problem only started happening after the latest 1.05 update. Can press the PS button and go back to PS4 UI and controller works fine there, just not in game. Have to quit and reload game to solve problem, until it happens again.

I'm also having this issue on PC. Even if I attempt to skip through conversations, eventually my cursor will show up on screen, at which point I am unable to rotate my perspective or interact with any of the characters or doors. My cursor still moves around the screen fine, and the characters and the environment are all still animated and moving around like normal.

I am at a point in the story with too much dialogue to get through without encountering this bug, so I am currently unable to play the story mode. 

PC Steam gamer, standard no VR; Keyboard and mouse, yesterday the game worked wonders and was fun, sadly after the patch I am unable to continue the campaign :-( it gets stuck at some point in the hangar  or briefing room, here is the thread started by other gamer:

Happens to me on PC version from Epic Game Store. I'm currently stuck in the hanger before Mission 1.

Same problem on PC in Origin, after some conversations in the hangar i can only move the cursor, but not able to leave the zone, or talk anyone else, or even access to the main menu with ESC key. No keys responding. The only way is to CTRL+ALT+SUPR and finish the process.

Same here--wanted to note that this glitch began as a result of the new update. The game ran fine before that. I'm using a regular PS4 controller, no complicated rig of any kind. In my case, things work until you listen to a briefing. Then, nearly 100% of the time, the analog sticks are locked out after briefing dialog. Turning the PS4 controller off and on again does nothing, and closing/restarting the game doesn't help.  

can confirm it happens to me also on pc(games bought via epic game launcher)

both with the xbox one controller and also tried with keyboard and mouse in any pre mission sections(first person mode)

its not just conversation that trigger the bug but the amount of time you spend in that section so you have to skip the dialogues and briefing as fast as possible before the bug happens which is gamebreaking in my opinion.

please fix that asap cant continue the story with such a bug.

this bug seems to have been introduced with patch 2.0.
