On the menus in game I can only select the first option. Like if I got to video settings, I can select and toggle Firescreen or Windowed. But I can't navigate down to the other options such as resolution or vsync. Also the customization options for Cal's Jacket, BD-1's skin or the Mantis skin, I am stuck with the first option in each one, because I am unable to navigate to the other options to select them. I have tried using both gamepad and mouse to no avail.
@EA_Atic Unfortunately it does not help. One thing to note is when using the mouse I can hover directly over what I want to select. I have to play around with the mouse position and just watch for what I want to select to highlight. But that is a different problem.
I am fine using the gamepad to navigate. However when using the game pad to navigate, in any of the menus I can't select any option other than the very first one. In the Gameplay menu I can only toggle difficulty, I can't select any options below that such as subtitles or text language. In the video menu I can toggle Window Mode but I can't get to any of the options below that such as max fps or graphics quality. Under customization, in the menus for poncho, BD-1, and Mantis, I can only select the first color option, the one in the top left hand corner. I can not toggle or navigate to any of the other color options.
Also unrelated, I';ve tried taking screenshots to help show what I am talking about but when I do, it's like it takes a screenshot of the game in a smaller window even though I am in fullscreen mode.
@EA_Atic Please note the below problems are while using a game pad to navigate the menu. Results are even worse when trying to use a mouse. I am playing on PC with an Xbox 360 controller. I am also playing on an ultra-wide monitor. The issues below are a summary of all of the menu problems I have encountered and are still dealing with so far.
1) After unlocking more materials, I cannot select the two materials on the far right hand side of the screen, can select all of the reset.
2) After progressing further in the story, I am no no longer able to select the lightsaber material as it is on the far right hand side of the screen.
3) Customization -> Poncho, not able to select any color options except for the default one.
4) Customization -> BD-1, not able to select any color options except for the default one.
5) Customization -> Mantis, not able to select any color options except for the default one.
6) Settings -> Gameplay, can scroll up and down the screen, but only able to select and toggle Difficulty.
7) Settings -> Visuals, can scroll up and down the screen, but only able to select and toggle Motion Blur.
8) Settings -> Video, can scroll up and down the screen, but only able to select and toggle Window Mode.
9) Settings -> Audio, can scroll up and down the screen, but only able to select and toggle Game Volume.
10) Settings -> Extras, can scroll up and down the screen, but only able to select and toggle Share Usage Data.
Any help resolving these would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same problem. What fixed it for me was switching from the full-screen option to Windowed full-screen option. That fixed it instantly. Hope that helps you as well.
