VR frame rate drops after dying/docking in fleet battles

Yes, I also have encountered this, perhaps since before 2.0. It's not 100% repro, but it definitely seems to happen most often when I deliberately fly into the hangar to change ships.

I am on an RTX 1070 running Oculus Link to a Quest 2. Framerate is great for a while and then suddenly goes down by half and the game becomes almost unplayable (I usually have to just shift to focusing on capital ship damage since that's all I can manage).
