I totally agree, i wish they had at least done a better job of letting us know that Oculus users should buy for Origin.
But at this point i do also agree with you in that the steam version should also just support Oculus without the Steam VR version.
I've tried all manner of things trying to get around steam VR and just use Oculus to no avail. It's like the version on steam is a completely different version of the game with different settings menu's.
PLEASE EA, SUPPORT OCULUS ON YOUR STEAM VERSION. DON'T LET A STUPID ISSUE BE ANOTHER REASON THAT PEOPLE LEAVE! THE GAME IS GREAT!
