XBox Controllers don't function on Jedi: Fallen Order Origin PC version. I've attempted old, new, and Elite controllers, both plugged-in via USB and via the wireless dongle. The controllers are working as intended for Madden 20 (Origin PC version) and Witcher 3 (Steam PC version). In Jedi: Fallen Order, only the left stick on the XBox Controllers seem to be functional, while the remaining buttons do nothing in-game. Please help!

@ianburnette In Device Manager, do you see Xbox 360 Controller under Xbox Peripherals? If so, disable or delete it. That’s what worked for me.

@prag16 just did a manual driver update via the XBox Accessories app and Windows Update. Still no dice. Are you playing via the Origin PC client?

I should add that I've now checked 3 other games, and the controllers are all functioning properly. The controllers are XBox One, Elite, and Elite 2, wireless and wired. The games included in my test are Red Dead Redemption 2, Ace Combat 7, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Are you getting no function at all or just not working properly? I have the game on Origin and an Xbox One Controller wirelessly connected and it works fine. However in the menu's it doesn't. Just goes to the first Options 'button' and can't select any other option. But I discovered it's because I'm using a 21:9 ultrawidescreen monitor. When I went to my 4K tv (which is 16:9) it worked fine in the menus. Apart from that I can't really say, sorry.

The right and left sticks work once controlling Cal, but nothing else. Strange that the screen resolution would have any effect on the use of buttons in the menu for you. For me, the sticks function in the menu after I‘ve loaded a game, but still no A X B Y LT RT RB LB or Dpad. Sword fighting with a keyboard mouse feels so janky......

Same issue here and I can't imagine which other troubleshooting steps I'd take. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, removed and reinstalled the controller. Tested the controller on NFS and Anthem and not a single problem, In Jedi just the sticks work nothing else.

Same problem, but emulating a controller with x360ce. Left and right analog sticks work, but no buttons. Works fine in other games.

Had same issue till I changed the setting to Full Screen. For some reason Borderless Window upsets the controller settings.

For anyone using x360ce to emulate a controller on PC, if your analog sticks work but no buttons, it's because the game is treating your controller as Player 2. Open x360ce and make sure your controller is mapped to Controller 1.
Fixed my problem.
