Community AdminIf you're encountering this on PC, can you try creating a throwaway Origin account and see if this one can play.
If not, be sure that your security software isn't blocking the game, and that the relevant ports are open.

My son is having this issue on Xbox One. I can play online just fine but as soon as we go to his account, it gives us the error message that he cannot access online features. This does not appear to be an issue with the settings. I checked his Xbox account settings and he can play any other game online just fine. Very frustrating.
Any suggestions on how to fix?

I am having the same issue with my son... I can log in fine under my name and play... but when he goes to log in under his name, no online content allowed... I have all his settings so he is not restricted at all. He can play any other game online. EA doesn't seem to be any help. It did this in beta as well.... I was hoping when the new game came out, it would be fixed.... I hope they fix this soon.... I even created his own ea account, but don't know how to link it to his gamer tag... till then, he is playing under my name... but he wants to play under his own name....
Please look into this, and if anyone knows how to fix it, please post....

Same issue here.. I just spent hour on phone with xbox, and its clearly and EA problem. In my case it appears they are reading my age incorrectly and flagging me as too young. No one seems to know how to fix this issue. Anything EA related I can't play online now.
i have this problem as well
ive opened and port forwarded all of the ports mentioned for pc and it still didnt work...Getting the same problem here on XBOX one. I can access all the online features, but my 3 kids cannot get online at all....
I got it to work for my son by logging into my Microsoft account and changing his date of birth.
My nephew had the same problem today on PS4.He doesn't have an EA account yet.
We were checking the menus of the game & the unlocks.We were checking the emotes & oops! Lost connection with PSN & EA.
Then a message appeared:"you don't have access-screenshot recorded & thank you for playing SWBF" !!!
WTH? Is it necessary to make an EA account to play the game? I have one for me & i don't have any issues at all so far.
My nephew is not interested to join the forum or the companion app.He just wants to play the game online.

Plese can you add a step by step for common hubs and how to achive this on a pc,for example im using a bt hub 4 and having no luck!
- Im on PS4 any rules or step by step on how to check and edit the ports?!....
Why do I need to keep creating accounts... I am very frustrated. Post a more useful answer, most of us do not know about ports, etc.
