Achievements not working on steam

What happens when the bug occurs? When I finish an achievement, it doesn't unlock on steam, including story achievements.
What do you expect to see? achievements to unlock

I have tried:

restarting the game

reinstalling the game

keeping it up to date with patches

turned usage sharing off then on again

disabling windows firewall

verifying game files

launching game from ea app

making sure ea app is connected to internet

These are all the things people say might fix the bug, but none of it works for me
