Ascension cable soft lock

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug After completing the boss fight at the Forrest Array, I flew down and talked to the prospector. The prompt for the ascension cable popped up briefly, but quickly went away and will not come back after restarting the game and console.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Include fast travel
What happens when the bug occurs? Pressed R3 for examine prompt which permanently got rid of the ascension prompt
What do you expect to see? The ascension prompt

What happens when the bug occurs? I pressed R3 as a response to a prompt to examine the floating balloons, and after I did, the ascension L2 prompt went away.
What do you expect to see? The L2 prompt

    @Jordan_Taikuri  Hopefully you're not still stuck, but if so, I'll just say that's not the way out.  You don't learn to use those balloons until later:

    You get a tool towards the end of the second mission on the shattered moon.
