Asus ROG Ally—Game crashes at the start of "Travel to Koboh" Mission

I just got my ROG Ally a week ago, and I played the first level of the game with no issues, but as soon as I start the "Travel to Koboh" mission, the screen goes black, I hear some sounds like the ship coming out of hyperspace, and then... nothing.  It crashes the Ally completely and I have to restart the device.  The graphics drivers are up to date, and since I just got the Ally and haven't had any other problems, I don't think the Ally is the problem.

Any ideas?

  • Hey @SgtMalReynolds,

It, unfortunately, looks like the Asus ROG Ally isn't really one of the supported platforms for the game. While it may run Windows 11, the hardware isn't really on par with what the game requires.

You can check the FAQ that we have for the game for the hardware requirements.

Due to the ROG Ally not having the hardware the game requires, we can't guarantee compatibility.

  • Hey, actually, the Ally runs Jedi Survivor really well... if you lower the settings as far as they go.  But it still looks nice and is playable.

Anyway, I managed to get past that point where it always crashed by going on my PC, playing past that cinematic, saved the game, and then got back on the Ally and it works great now :D

  • I'm using Star Wars Survivor through Steam on ROG Ally and after 10 percent the game try to lunch but it can't and crashes

I uninstall and install again make graphic card upgrade but it stil, crashed what can I do?

  • I'm having the same problem but with the EA app. I purchased the game through the EA app. As soon as you go to the cockpit to launch into hyperspace the screen goes black and you can hear stuff for a minute. Both Jedi: Survivor and the EA app crash. I have to reboot to get the EA app to work again.
