Camera spinning/running nonstop

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug Both the running/sprinting used on the left analog stick and the camera spinning on the right both continue despite not touching the controller. It’s essentially made the game unplayable
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you play on the ps5, I would say everytime
What happens when the bug occurs? I literally can’t play the game because I’m constantly running off of buildings or the camera is spinning nonstop so I can’t move in any particular direction.
What do you expect to see? Read the above

It only happens on this game so I know it’s not a controller or ps5 issue, it’s a Jedi survivor game issue

@tgrin0079Maybe it is not related, but I think I should mention it here as well. I don't have the same problem you have described, but since the last patch if I open Domas or Sister Taskes shop, all the displayed items are spinning non stop. At the slightest touch of the stick, they change direction. First I thought it is a controller error, but I've tested it with all 3 controllers of mine, and the result is the same. As I said, maybe it's not related, but I feel like it is. I'm also playing on PS5 btw.

  • @Euphonic88 Yeah, I have the same issue. I thought it was the controller and sent it to Sony for repair (stupid, I know; I should've verified completely it was the controller. At least it was covered under warranty). Got it back and the spinning in Doma's shop continues. I then went into the PS5 accessibility settings and swapped the controller sticks inputs, so that the left stick inputs as the right and vice versa, yet it still happens. It seems like the deadzone for rotating items in Doma's shop is extremely low. I know that this has no impact on gameplay, but man does it annoy me!

@danny080686 The funny thing is that it only happens in Performance Mode. In Quality Mode, the spinning is not present. There are many issues/bugs that are only present in Performance Mode. For example, the crew T posing in the mantis when traveling to a new planet.
  • I'm having the same issue on PC using a PS4 controller (also on an emulated XBox controller) in November 2024.  My computer specs are above the recommended, but I also can't play on highest settings because the graphics get all blurry. Even on low textures, I get a bunch of amorphous blobs where bushes should be.

The spinning gets very frustrating. It's not all the time, but when it happens, I'm lucky if it doesn't kill me.  This is a fun game, but they seem to have done a horrible job in optimizing it or something.
