I'm having the same issue on PC using a PS4 controller (also on an emulated XBox controller) in November 2024. My computer specs are above the recommended, but I also can't play on highest settings because the graphics get all blurry. Even on low textures, I get a bunch of amorphous blobs where bushes should be.
The spinning gets very frustrating. It's not all the time, but when it happens, I'm lucky if it doesn't kill me. This is a fun game, but they seem to have done a horrible job in optimizing it or something.
