Can’t progress past “Climb Mountain to Observatory”

Also having this problem, I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix the bug I’ve even tried trying to glitch myself into the cutscene again or something.

this is infuriating, the one time I choose to run from an annoying mob instead of fighting them I run into a game breaking bug. I’ve put a ton of hours into this game and I’m permanently stuck, please patch this immediately, how on earth you thought being killable during a cutscene as acceptable game design is beyond me.
