Can’t progress past “Climb Mountain to Observatory”

2 years later I'm having this problem. I bought on my pc when it came out and stopped playing because I was stuck like this at an earlier point in the game. Now I'm stuck here because the stupid shipwreck is bugged. I've never seen a company not care to fix a game there selling to fans. I'm hearing they're coming out with a 3rd, that's hilarious.
