Hello everyone,

They seem to be working on the issue. Yesterday a patch dropped for PC and a patch for console will come today (2 may 2023)

- Fixed an issue where players were getting stuck inside the Chamber of Duality if you didn’t save after leaving the chamber and die.

I will preface this by saying that I am also suffering from this issue, and it sucks, but as a game developer myself (in fact I shipped Star Wars Battlefront 2 and pitched and shipped Star Wars Squadrons for Motive EA) let me inject a little perspective (btw I no longer work for EA so this is unbiased) :

Absolutely NOBODY on the dev team or at EA are happy or even indifferent to situations like this. Though I am not on that team, I can guarantee that they are in full reaction mode right now. People have been asked to work over the weekend to reproduce, debug, and find a solution for this. Then patching the game outside of scheduled updates is really non-trivial.

It's unfortunate that this bug slipped through the cracks, but the reality is that even with QA teams of dozens, they will never find all the bugs that millions of player will eventually find. A lot of people poured their hearts into this game, so please show a little patience while they work overtime to fix this for you.

Again, I don't work for EA anymore and don't speak for them, I only speak as a fellow game developer.

Thanks for saying this, I have the same issue. People are only human and I can totally wait until it gets fixed. I work a full time job and have a baby, so I also have very limited time to play. I took Friday off to play this and got stuck myself. I have confidence it will get fixed.

  Just chipping in to say I am having the same issue... Trapped in the Chamber of Duality with no way out.
  Doing my best to remain level headed, but this game-breaking bug in conjunction with all of the extensive PS5 performance issues is making it difficult, and I don't see myself buying games from EA at full price in the future. I understand it is difficult to address all bugs before release, but all of these issues in conjunction does not speak well for the game's state on release day.
  Please please fix this issue.

@DarthDisembowel Great add, and very solid work on Squadrons. Actually started playing squadrons to blow off steam before restarting Survivor!
