Entitlement conflicting between Steam purchase

Question

I previously played Jedi Survivor (PC) during a promotional period through EA (2021 I believe, had since uninstalled the game and app). I recently purchased the game on Steam, and redownloaded/updated/logged in to EA app. When launching via steam, it starts the EA app and says "preparing game", I can see the game appear in Task Manager briefly, but quickly closes and the EA App shows “an error on our end caused the launch to fail." I have repaired EA app, uninstall+reinstall+delete prior cache data, made sure services are running on auto, made sure steam was updated, verified files, all I can think of on a hardware end, nothing has made a difference.

I believe my entitlement may be conflicting between the promotional version and the Steam purchase. Is it possible to refresh or repair the entitlement on my account?

Hey man, I have a very similar issue. I've even gone to the BBB and filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's office. I hate seeing fellow gamers get ignored by these giant corporations that treat us like trash. I'm replying to let you know you aren't alone, and I'll keep you posted when they finally start trying to resolve our issue.&nbsp;

I have this issue too, and we're not the only ones. There's a couple of other bug reports that are having the same issues. I'm just glad I was able to play through the game and get the achievements before this issue messed up my game.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Much appreciated! I still haven't had any support from EA, still haven't been able to play or be refunded. Hope something comes out of all the similar complaints and reporting.&nbsp;
