Have been replaying the game on New Game + and had been fortunate that game performance since Day 1 had been an acceptable 50 - 60fps average with lows between 30 - 40fps and only very rare occurrences of stuttering on 4k res with Ray Tracing off. With Ray Tracing on i was only getting around 40fps average and over 40 something hours of game play had only experienced 6 or 7 actual game crashes a couple of which i had attributed to trying to eek a little extra performance out of my system.
Since the current patch which was supposed to improve stability and non ray traced performance I'm seeing an actual performance reduction of 20 - 30% in frame rates and constant crashing of the game when trying to approach the Lucrehulk for the first time on this play through. Feeling very glad at this point that the only money I've put towards the game is my years subscription for the Play Pro membership which due to this and the lack of regionally appropriate servers for Australians to play Squadrons i am decreasingly likely to renew said membership.
Current system specs are a Ryzen 7 5800x on an x570 Aorus Pro WiFi with 32gb Vengance LPX 3800mhz CL16 DDR4, game drive is an NVMe 4 Samsung 980 Pro and the pixels are being pushed by a 3080Ti FTW3.
Lift your game EA, i play for the story lines but I'm not going to keep paying for disappointment.
