Hi guys,

22 hours into the game, fought that one armed jedi for the second time on the ship and after that files got corrupted.
Fought the one armed jedi for the second time, took escape pod then went on to complete the puzzle inside the golden cube, then right after went to fight the 2 gorilla looking mobs that protect the chest with the stim, i died to them and spawned at the save point then it said "progress cannot be saved" i tried to save after but had the same message pop up.
restarted the game and now its saying my game file is corrupted.
what do I do?
All we can do is wait, unless you want to restart, which I don't think anyone here does. Why the hell does it take EA so long to do anything about this problem, so many people have had it and they haven't said anything.
I was literally about the finish the game (I assume) - on Koboh, and went to the meditation point under Pyloon's and my computer crashes right in the middle of the save. Upon rebooting and reloading the game, it says I have a corrupt save and can only start a new game.58 hours in, after completing rumors, exploring, finding treasures, completing challenges, etc, it fumbles after all that! I tried removing the local save file in the hopes that the cloud save could be used, but unfortunately, the cloud save was also corrupt. I can only think that the EA play app sync'd the local save file with the cloud upon reboot... SO I'm screwed...
Unless EA stores other previous versions of the save file (maybe at least 3 or so), I'm gonna have to start over...Anyone know if we can access any other cloud saves? Or if there even previous versions of the cloud save?
I have a save file on Steam with a little over 18 hours of gameplay. I had just gotten to Koboh again after Jedah. The save file has 50% completion and everytime I try to launch it just saids it's corrupted and I need to start a new journey. It's BS because I just purchased the deluxe edition upgrade. I've never immediately regretted a purchase before until now, this game is a joke and EA is a joke too for releasing such a broken game. Serious PC performance issues, game breaking bugs, corrupted save files. This is ridiculous.
I got on to play, I was at the Rayvis boss fight (the first, if there are more than one), and I received this when I tried to load. I tried to use the backup in my SavedGames, but the backup was corrupted as well. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I was 57 hours in and I play by trying to finish all side content before doing story parts, so I was fully caught up with side bosses, and lots of rumors (except for the bounty one, that one was bugged for me from the start).
We all feel your pain. Just waiting for a patch that fixes this...hopefully
Hello Everyone!
I played 70 hours with Jedi Survivor, i almost maxed out everything. Today i want to continue, but i got a message: Save file Corrupted and no back up to load save game. Is there any solution to get my progress back? Patch 5 is a problem i think, but i am not sure. If anybody can help please. I am very dissapointed if i need to start a new journey, beacuse i put a lot of time in the game. I try reinstall everything (Steam, EA app, Windows), but wont help.
It's not patch 5. It has been going on since release. If I ever decide to play again with it not being fixed. I plan to manually backup my save after ever play session. That's if EA doesn't fix it in the mean time and let me continue from where I left off.
@SectorArcher I could send you my save from just before the last two missions, if you want. I'd collected almost everything by then, so you'd just have those final missions and one Force Tear, and maybe a treasure chest near the Alignment Center that I forgot to grab.
