I'm trying to install Jedi Survivor but it always gives me the same error message

Error: a redistributable package (DirectX) was not installed successfully. Setup  cannot continue. (4294967281)

I've downloaded the newest versions of VC and installed it and it didn't change a thing. I wanna play Jedi Survivor

    Stupid question/suggestion, have you tried to either download directx again and install or run a DxDiag.exe and see what that says?
