Drya Thornne bug

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug Drya Thornne is invincible, won’t die and therefore can’t get the cross guard stance
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea
What happens when the bug occurs? Drya Thornne will not die, health stays on 1
What do you expect to see? Should be able to unlock cross guard stance

Was playing through the moon mission to get the cross guard stance. Got to Drya Thornne (the boss) and defeated her. The cutscene after words played on times 3 speed then Drya Thornne respawned and I had the cross guard stance. She was still moving at 3x speed. After she killed me I respawned and didn’t have the stance anymore. Ever since then she is invincible, I’ll get her health down to one and no matter how many times I hit her after she won’t die. I was able to kind of cheese the fight by running around the side and splicing the door, this allowed me to continue the story but she is still bugged. Since I can’t kill her I can’t unlock the cross guard stance.

  • I had long since beaten this boss, when returning for later in the story they had respawned and wouldn’t die AND I lost my lightsaber stance!

  • I have a problem with Drya Thornne where he doesn't have life and it is not going down all the time have 1% live and I can't finish him off whatever I do. I did defeat him 1st time but after I did have a power cut and my last save is before fighting with him a can't defeat him now. That happened a week ago but I did try again after the patch and it was the same. I don't have a different save.

    I am on pc

  • I didn't even hit "rest" at the save point, just meditated to make sure my game was saved. As soon as I stopped meditating, boss was back in my face. What blows my mind is- assuming the first post on this thread is when EA first became aware of it- they've known about this bug for two weeks. Why wouldn't they then make sure that the fix was included in Patch 4? Especially for a boss that is encountered so early in the game? Like seriously, we don't care about minor graphics issues that make things look a little less pretty as much as we care about something that literally breaks the game.

This is still broken - please fix EA. At least include in a patch that the cross guard stance is unlocked based on having beaten this boss. Super frustrating.

Summarize your bug Drya Thorne is invincible and Crossguard Stance is unlockable.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Drya Thornne’s boss battle on the Shattered Moon. Defeat Drya Thorne, and then use the meditation point in the middle of the room.
What happens when the bug occurs? Drya Thornne becomes invincible, and the crossguard stance remains locked out.
What do you expect to see? Drya Thornne becomes impossible to defeat.

Not being able to complete this task and unlock the crossguard stance means I will not be able to 100% the game. Please patch this as soon as possible, thank you very much in advance.

  • Has this been fixed yet? I noticed I still don’t have the stance back but can they be defeated again?

I think they finally fixed it! I went back to the location and zip lined down and didn’t see the boss. I went to the workbench and the cross guard piece reappeared. So fingers crossed that’s that!

  • So not sure if this helps your issue but i had an issue where i unlocked the crossguard stance fought some enemies then iut of no where the stance and saber disappeared. I found a way to fix it but no guarantees. Just because this worked for me doesnt mean it will for you.

I went to the cargo landing deck, took the elevator down, picked up a echo i missed then zip lined across to the other meditation point. I spam fought the raider whos hiding around the corner after the droid for xp about 7 times... (spam fought as in killed him and rested then went back) lastly i used the meditation point to fast travel back to the superstructure and went to the work bench.

Boom eveything reset and i got the stance and saber back. Long story short you might just have to fast travel and fight enemies idk. Trying to help more than EA is.
