Summarize your bug After defeating the enemies upon entering the outpost for the first time, players who end up fast traveling to someplace different and then saving the game from away the Imperial Post 8L-055, they can no longer progress in the story as the doors won’t open up ever again. My current game save is halted until this can be fixed, as it’s story-related.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? First defeat the waves of enemies upon entering the outpost for the very first time, and then go fast travel to someplace different and explore/eventually use a Meditation Point. Then go back to the Imperial Post 8L-055, and you can no longer progress in the story as the doors won’t open up ever again.
What happens when the bug occurs? The doors won’t open, and the story is forever halted from progressing.
What do you expect to see? The doors to open up again so players can progress in the story again.

Just had this issue. Thought my game was done. BUT if when going up the mountain you took the elevator down to the Mountain Ascent area then you CAN take the elevator back up and be in the correct place. HOPEFULLY this helps anyone else caught in this situation because I WAS going to stop playing on my second play through. Dumb bug. Happy hunting.
