Epic Games - PS5 controller inputs not working on Jedi Survivor

Hello, 

I am using a PS5 controller to play Jedi Survivor and I bought the game through Epic Games. My X,SQUARE, CIRCLE AND TRINAGLE buttons and also my Directional keys like UP,DOWN,LEFT AND RIGHT don't work at all. Only my Left joystick/analog stick works for me to look around in the game or move up and down in the menu and settings. I looked up YouTube videos and other pages online for help. They provided me some information but it hasn't fixed my problem, I want to play this game with a controller and not with a keyboard. I never had this issue for Fallen Order and randomly this popped up and work let me do anything. Any type of help is appreciated, thank you!

    Not sure if you are playing with a wired controller but I had the same issue and had to fully restart my pc with the controller plugged in and it fixed the issue

    I have EA Play pro and have installed it via the EA app

    I cannot use a controller to enter any menus, the only working input on the controller is the two analog sticks, i cannot proceed through any menus or the game (i can't get the lightsaber with LT) unless i use a mouse and keyboard, which i cannot use to play

    I have tried the recommended steps of adding the game to Steam as a non-library game and enabling Steam input
