Game automatically turns Performance Mode off after cutscenes (PS5)

When the game switches to a cutscene, performance mode is disabled (PlaStation 5):

I am seeing this too.

Although I see it drop to 30fps at the start of the cutscene. I thought at first the cutscene were maybe at 30fps (some games do that) but it looks in engine, so I checked settings and sure enough performance mode had switched off by itself.

They need to fix these major things the game is good but these mistakes are ruining the experience making it unplayable unfortunately

@EA_LeeuwHaving the same issue on Xbox series X as well. From day one when I bought the game. I selected performance mode and immediately playing the first chapter I noticed the game was dropping frame rates dramatically, even on cutscenes. I deleted the game hoping this would fix the issue, but after doing that, even before booting up the game, I went into to my visual settings, and performance mode was toggled off? I thought maybe this was just a one time issue.

But as I progressed through another chapter, I kept noticing that it was turning off performance mode. Even knowing for a fact I am toggling on performance mode. I seen others on Reddit are having this issue as well on PS5. I can toggle on performance mode 10 times and no matter what, it will switch back to quality mode. Also this issue never occurs when I played Jedi fallen order. If I selected performance mode, it would stay at that mode I selected. So I know this is definitely an issue with the game itself. I hope within the next patch 5 this will be addressed.

I figured after the most recent "performance" patch, this would have been addressed! Hopefully this issue gets resolved soon. Love the game so far, it's honestly hard to put down, but the performance/optimization is truly disappointing.

Summarize your bug During cutscenes the game turns off performance mode and lowers the frame rate. It's not a massive bug but it's a bit annoying and makes the cutscenes look worse (or run worse) than they need to. You can actually manually turn it back on in the pause menu during any cutscene but having to pause every cutscene as soon as it starts to turn performance mode back on is a bit annoying. Also some cutscenes lead right into another so you'll probably have to do this twice before returning to gameplay.

What happens when the bug occurs? Changes one of your active settings
What do you expect to see? hopefully, that if you have performance mode turned on, it always stays on. During and throughout cutscenes.

I've only been playing on PS5 so it's possible that other consoles don't have this issue but I've definitely had it
