Game crashes all the time

On my PS5 my game crashes during and after cutscenes. It also crashes mid gameplay. It first crashed after the first phase with the second sister and continued to crash after it. When I skipped the cutscene, I could finish the fight. Now I'm at the first puzzle when you first meet the droid Zee and you try and free her. I can't even play because it crashes whenever I'm in that room. Even when I'm AFK for too long.

    Hey @ExplodinGamer04

If the game is crashing, please try the following steps:

    Restore Licenses.
In the main menu of your PlayStation, go to Settings > Account Management > Restore License.

    Clear cache.
    1. Turn off your console (not rest mode).
    2. Wait until the power light on the front of the console stops blinking.
    3. Unplug the power cable from the console.
    4. Press and hold the power button several times to remove any excess power.
    5. Turn on your console again.

  • This didn't work. If anything it made it worse. I should also add that I already uninstalled and re-installed. I also went into safe mode and rebuilt the database

    • Try also to disable HDR on your console. LINK
    • Disconnect your external hard drive if you're using one and any other devices connected to your console (USB, Bluetooth headsets, etc)
    • If you have rest mode features enabled try disabling all of them.

Go to the PS5 Settings menu.
      Select “System.”
      Scroll down to “Power Saving.”
Choose “Set Time Until PS5 Enters Rest Mode.”
Select either or both options and choose the “Don’t Put in Rest Mode” option.
The PS5 will no longer automatically put itself into Rest Mode
    • Try disabling the HDCP feature on your PS5 console.

Go to Settings on your PS5 console.
      Select the System category.
In the left pane, select HDMI. In the right pane, toggle off the button for the option Enable HDCP.
After disabling HDCP, you can check the game again.
    • Change the 4k video transfer rate to either -1 or -2 and then check the game.
  • Nope doesn't work. Nothing works. I can play other games just fine, but this game doesn't seem to work at all.

  • I am also having this same issue on PS4 Pro. I had the same problem with Fallen Order. I had to erase my entire console to get it to work. Jedi Survivor is even worse. This should be illegal I paid for this
