Game crashes on opening cinematic on Xbox Series

i'm getting this same issue on the Steam version

Same here on Xbox Series X. I have tried everything from reinstalling game, clearing cache, hard shut down of console, resetting console, but nothing works. My game crashes every time during the opening cut scene. My game has also crashed going in and out of options on game menu and it has crashed while idle on the menu. If I try and skip the cut scene, the screen just goes black, and then a few seconds later crashes the game. I expect better from a £70 game.

I’m still having this issue even after 5/02 update! Freezing at his hands in hand cuffs in opening scene.

I have had this game for a week and have been unable to play it. The furthest I have made it without the game freezing is about 15 seconds into the opening cutscene. I’ve tried changing settings, putting the game in performance mode, and even lowering the resolution to 720p. I’ve even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. All have failed.

After the 05/09 update the game still crashes on the starting cutsceen. Has anyone found a fix for this?

Game is still freezing and crashing at the main menu or the opening cutscene. This is after the May 9th patch. The game is still completely unplayable. I don’t understand how you can sell a game that is unplayable.

I am in the same boat. I even deleted the game and did a reinstall with the may 9th patch and it is still broken. It crashes in the intro cutscene, if you skip the cutscene, you may be lucky to walk 5-10 feet before it crashes. 

Actually made it to the first stairs in corusant the other day and then it crashed. 

The current state of the game is completely unplayable for me.
