I left it like that for 10 or 15 minutes and was going to do the same but mashed all the buttons on my controller and the game resumed.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Run through the opening mission and call turbo lift before getting to the senators yacht.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game video freezes and music continues, shows directions on how to have bode attack targeted enemies
What do you expect to see? Cal looking at bode, two scout troopers and a heavy storm trooper on a turbo lift

I had this same issue just now. I managed to fix it by switching off the Tutorials Enabled in Other under Gameplay in Settings. It’s a bit annoying but it let me carry on when I reloaded my last save.
I cant even get this far, the section where you have to use force push on the broken door for the 1st time, As soon as i get down the ramp where the two storm troopers are the game locks up totally, I've tried on two different computers and it locks up totally, i dont get a crash just a total lock out. Also game setttings are not per machine, so when i switch between my gaming laptop and gaming PC i have to drop settings back down.
Turned off all tutorials, turned off everything i can think off, but still no joy.. I cant play the game and just having to accept it could be £££ down the drain
