Playing on Xbox series X and the game crashes every time I’m doing the opening walk through Coruscant. I preordered the deluxe edition and am unable to play at all, sad! Todays patch didn’t fix the issue, I’ve reinstalled the game as well and the issue persists. Please help

@twente55 Having the same issue on PS5. Can make it out of the elevator with the K2 droid, but then will freeze walking to the Senator or during that cutscene

@bryansiegel I see things haven’t improved for you either after the patch. Got excited as well. Really shouldn’t have…. Been no reply from EA/Respawn or anyone. Really sad and disappointed.

Hi all,
After launching the game during the first skewering after entering the elevator, the game crashed.
After restarting the game, the whole sequence started from the beginning.
However, here I could already move freely, without handcuffs on my hands, on top of that the dialogues were out of sync.
The problem was solved, while initiating a conversation with the Senator.

I posted over the weekend about how my game kept crashing at random points on Coruscant, and got no response from anyone at EA.

I got excited yesterday, when I read the news about the patch, and was eagerly awaiting a working version of this game.

Much to my disappointment, after updating and trying again today, not only is my game still crashing, but it seems to be running worse - with the framerate chugging more than ever.

A big thanks for nothing to EA and Respawn. Will be returning the game to the store today.

@twente55 Playing on PS5 and the first time I opened the game after downloading it when the patch came out, it couldn't even make it to the actual game menu before crashing. Second time I was able to start the opening cinematic, and then it crashed like it did before the patch. Third time, I tried to skip the cutscene, and like always, the game crashed the second I was able to move Cal around.

Having the same issue on PS5, both before and after the patch. I can get through the first couple of minutes walking with the handcuffs on. As soon as I get out of the elevator with the K2 droid the crashes start. The game will crash on the walk or during the cutscene. Skipping doesn’t help. I’ve tried changing performance settings, motion blur, HDR, etc.reinstalled the game a few times and the same thing.

Bought the game close to the release date and it won’t get past the first conversation on coruscant before crashing and shutting the game down.
I have re-installed it twice, changed my gamer picture, tried it with another account, deleted all my save files and tried to restart it, i have tried to change the TV settings I have used an old TV and a new tv taken off performance mode and hard reset my Xbox.
has anybody got any ideas? As I’m now past the refund date as well. My. Trust that they’ll fix the game has screwed me over
