Game keeps crashing before even getting to play

Hello, ever since launch I have been trying to get the game to work on PC but it constantly crashes when i start a new game even after the numerous patches/updates.

This is the error that I keep getting below:

LowLevelFatalError \[File:Unknown\] \[Line: 163\] Shader compilation failures are Fatal.

@booiamaghost

If u use Nvidia card with RTX, try to disable RTX in video driver settings for this game or launch it with DX11 and check the problem.

  @MADrag0n I added -dx11 in the launch commands for the executable but the game crashes before reaching the menu.

  How do you disable RTX if the game crashes before you can enter any options, much less graphics options?

    Been having similar issues with the game since launch. Both on PC and XSX.
    Months after release and the devs still haven't been able to make their game fully playable to everyone. Mind blowing.
