Gamebreaking progress near end of the game on "Locate and go to Bode's Quarters"

I'm on the mission "Locate and go to Bode's Quarters" near the end of the game and I cannot progress any further. The game has now crashed on me 5 times at the same spot. It consistently crashes either during or shortly after meeting Denvik. The game typically crashes on me every now and then but I've never had a game breaking situation that happened every time like this that prevents me from getting to another save point. Anyone else run into this?

This is pathetic. Almost a year later and the game is still a mess. Never buying a Respawn game again.
