jedi survivor lag and graphics

I'm Trying to play Jedi Survivor on my pc, I got it for my birthday because I been waiting so long to play it being all exited. To say I've never been this sad because of a game.

This is what's wrong,

1.) Lag

It Completely becomes unplayable once the lag kicks in, the game seems it can't catch up to itself. In combat you can't what you are doing because of how bad it ends up getting, jumping is horrid too. Seems like its stop motion at this point in cut scenes.

2.) Graphics

It takes forever for the graphics to catch up or kick in, most of the time it looks like everything is just smooth or blobs.

My computers drivers is up to date and everything is installed

My computer meets the requirements

I've tried lower settings

turned off Ray Tracing, Film Grain and Chromatic Aberration

Turn up some and turned down some, put it all on low

But same issue is at hand.

  • That must be frustrating.

Let's start getting you sorted with your attaching a DXDIAG report, so we can see what we're dealing with.

  • I am having the same issue which also causes the game to crash,  Just bought the game

the issue seems to be with the amount of system resources the game requires or how the game handles it I don't know I didn't look into it outside of the game taking 12 gigs of system memory

Anyway the fix I found is Changing  the games priority via task manager

    1. Launch game

    2. Open Task manager

    3Select Details

    4. Right Click on Jedi Survivor ( sorting by memory should make it pop to the top)

    5. Select  Set Priority--->Real Time  ( usually I would just select high but it still crashes out unless its real-time)

You will have to do this every time you launch the game but just did 2 hours no lag no crash

System specs below all drivers up to date on the system, running the latest bios and system drivers.
