Jedi Survivor Out of Video Memory

Jedi Fallen order used to work for around 50-70 minutes before crashing.
In an attempt to resolve that issue I have someone made it so much worse.

Now I can no longer even get the game to boot to the main menu.

Every time it boots I get to the reconfiguring game files page and then get an error that "Out of video memory" Which isn't likely as I have a 4080

I have used the Display Device Uninstaller and re-installed my graphics drivers twice

I have updated every single windows 11 update

I have repaired the game

I have completed re-installed the game

I have tried adjusting the windows paging file (I didn't expect this would have any effect as the error was for Video memory not virtual memory)

I've updated by Bios and my chipset drivers

I have disabled every single overlay

I have attempted to start the game with a windows clean boot

I have run sfc /scannow three times and found no corrupted files

I have tried using three different monitors
I tried manually editing the config file for lower resolution/Settings

<<DXDIAG ATTATCHED>>

For the love of god someone please help me. I've got 30 hours into this game already and it just suddenly stops working?! That's absolutely infuriating.

  • Thanks for attaching the DXDIAG. It helps get things moving quicker. Nice rig BTW.

Have you searched this forum for your issue? There are multiple, existing posts like this one that may help.

That post calls out issues in the Diagnostics section. You have the same thing going on and should explore.

"I tried manually editing the config file for lower resolution/Settings" - In my experience, manually updating config files is a step in the wrong direction.
