We can't issue the refund because the purchase did not go through our system. There is no record of it so we can't refund it.
What do I do then? I have never had this problem before where a game doesn’t work.
I paid my hard earned money for it and it doesn’t work.
It’s basically a paperweight at this point.

I don't have any other suggestions for getting a refund, unfortunately.

But that’s £60 I will never see again. For a game that doesn’t even work.

I'm very sorry for all the trouble with this. It's been resolved for most, but for some reason, it's still not working for you. Does it work if you use a different profile?

I can confirm that this issue has not been resolved for anybody.

I have made and tried two different accounts. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything else to suggest that hasn't already been suggested in this thread. Hopefully, an update will release that resolves this for the rest of you that still have this issue.

There must be something that can be done? We clearly are loyal fans and even though we can not actually play the game, we are still here.
since there are only a minority of us who have these issues. Surely we can have a more intimate discussion about what the actual issue is with developers or those in a role who can help us fix the bug?

I can’t afford another console for just one game? Unless EA has a spare laying around?

I wasn't sure if you possibly had a friend or family member with one you could try. That would help potentially narrow this down to a hardware issue.

I didn’t mean for that to sound snarky. I was being deadly serious. If EA has a box laying around I’d take it 😂.
It does sound hard to believe. But I don’t have access to another console.

No worries. Unfortunately, that's not something we're able to do. I'm really sorry. I wish I had some other suggestions, but at the moment, I can't think of anything, but will surely let you know if something else comes up.

My best guess at this point is that its a faulty GPU in the Xbox. I am fortunate enough to be able to test it on another console w/ my account and it worked, therefore leads be to believe that its shoddy hardware from Microsoft as other games that have recently been giving me trouble on my console operate without issue on a different console.

It's kind of a long shot, but have you tried a different HDMI cable? Make sure it's a premium one. Also, have your tried turning off the HDR settings? I'm not optimistic these will help. Personally, I play on Series X and have had no issues with HDR and using the HDMI cable that came with my console.
It's very possible this is hardware related though. Possibly, Xbox support can better diagnose that.

It has been almost a year since I pre-ordered the game, and I have yet to see anything past the startup logo's (before it crashes).
I thought giving the game 6 months might be enough time for the team at EA to fix this issue, but it seems the game will remain unplayable.
I was unable to get any refund on this game due to pre-ordering the digital version on the Xbox Series X (a console I purchased just to play this game) and it was past the allowed number of days while I waited for the bug to get fixed (which it never did).
I hope one day this game is fixed to the point that people can at least get to the main menu, but we will all be long dead of old age by that point.
Regards,
A concerned gamer.
