Key Binding Cere Junda Protective Barrier Stop the Assault Mission Arid Flats
Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Epic-PC
Summarize your bug This a Key binding issue It happens during the scene that comes immediately after chasing Bode through the desert and the Imperials attack. Cere becomes the character and there's some key that has to pressed to get through some sort of tutorial or something? (I'm not sure what it's supposed to do.) The key the screen says I should press is unbound. should press is unbound. I can't find out what key needs to be bound and what it needs to be bound to. If someone could tell me what the needed key binding is, that would be fantastic.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Mess up whichever keybinding that's required. Then when you get to that point, nothing will be able to work.
What happens when the bug occurs? Everything is locked and the game will not respond to any key other than the 'unbound" key.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the screen prompt me to use the correct key binding instead of "unbound"
This reminds me a great deal of the key binding problem that I encountered at the start of the blaster stance tutorial. For that one, all I had to do was bind Force Attack to the F key and then everything was OK. I have no idea what key needs to be bound here or what action it needs to be bound to. If someone could tell me the correct keybinding for this screen with Cere, I could change the key binding before I get to that point. I have to do it before that point though. Once at that point absolutely nothing can be done, because the game won't let me out of that screen—no matter what. Period. No keys will work until that "unbound" key gets pressed.
I've been trying online to find the answer. but I've had no luck at all in finding the correct keybinding. I've tried resetting to the defaults, that didn't work. All the videos that people have posted on youtube that I've been able to find are for gaming consoles or people who using game controllers instead of mouse and keyboard.
I guess that I could try getting a game controller and then use it long enough to get past that stupid point in the game. It seems ridiculous that I should have to do that though. EA really ought to be able to create a keybinding system that actually works. It's not like this technology is very exotic or unusual at this stage in the computer/video game industry. Ea has had months since the game's release to fix these bugs. Yet a lot of the same bugs are still plaguing this game.
It's been over a month since the first time that i posted about this bug and I've had no response at all. Surely someone must know the correct key binding to use here? I can't be the only person to have encountered this particular bug in the game. This issue is extremely frustrating.
