lags when I enter dessert

Its now December, i just bought the game and when i entered the dessert i also had a lot of lags whenever i entered a fight, i tried to turn down my graphic settings to the lowest but even then it was still very laggy.

My roommate told me that its a memory leak? Amd that only the maker of that game can fix that ☹️ 

So i cant play with cal until this is fixed bc i love the game but this is highly annoying
